Here you will find everything you need to know about P2TM. If there's anything else you need to know, please don't hesitate to ask.

Suggesting Poems
If you suggest a poem which breaks these rules, it will be removed from the folder and you will receive a note letting you know that it has been removed and why.

• You may not suggest your own poems please remember this. Pretty much every other suggestion has to be removed because someone has suggested their own work. This is not a place for you to promote your own work, it is a place to promote the work of poets  and songwriters you admire.
• Please submit any poems from dA which you would like to suggest to the 'Suggested Poems' favourites folder.
• If you would like to suggest a song or poem from outside dA, please note PoetryToTheMasses or the group, or comment, and make sure you include a link to the poem
• Poems must not include mature content. Mature content is any poem which:
  • has a mature content filter on it. The poet has put it on for a reason
  • contains these swear words: the f-word, the s-word, the w-word or the c-word (and I don't mean crap). Bloody, blooming, bugger, flipping, fricking, etc. are all allowed. 'Bastard' is allowed provided it is used as a factual description of a person whose parents were unmarried and not merely as an insult.  If you would like any of those words added to the 'banned list', please note us.
  • contains graphic/explicit sexual content (not including metaphors, euphemisms, etc.) This may be judged on a case by case basis.
  • If you are unsure whether your suggestion contains mature content or not, note us a link and we can clarify.
• You do not have to be a member to suggest poems
• One of the main aims of this group is to promote a variety of poetry, so please refrain from suggesting many poems by the same poet or artist. Two is fine, three or more is a little excessive - hopefully, people will check out other work by featured poets anyway.

Suggestions leaderboard

• The suggestions leaderboard will be displayed on the the front page
• The next set of points will be awarded 1 March 2012
• Poems and songs from different sources are now worth different amounts:
  • Poem from dA: 1
  • Song from outside dA: 3
  • Poem from outside dA: 5
  This is to try to even out the number of different kinds of suggestions we receive.
• Poems which break the rules will not contribute to your score

Contests

• We are not currently holding a contest
• More contests will be held in the future
• If you would like to contribute in advance to any future contests, note either PoetryToTheMasses, QuenWrites or this group.
• Contest entries will always have their own gallery folder
